This event is by one of our Den Chiefs & Local Boy Scout, Avi Eisenberg, & open to everyone! See his message below! 

This is to help nearby residents as well as to ensure the safety of wildlife residing in the area! :) Anyone is welcome to join and there is no need to stay the entire shift period, although it would be prefered if participants could stay for at least an hour or so to contribute. We need scouts (& everyone) of all ages to join. This will count towards summertime awards & community service. 

What: A cleanup of the green area adjacent to Fort Totten Metro station.

Date:  Sunday, 27th of June

Time: 1:00 p.m-4:00 p.m. 

Who: All scouts and the general public

Where: Gallaway St NE, DC & South Dakota NE (Fort Totten Metro Station)

Materials: We need RSVPs so we can ensure enough materials (gloves, masks, water, snacks, & trash bags). If you would like to bring your own, feel free. 

RSVP's are needed even if you are just interested so we can get an approximation of how many people are going so we know how many materials to bring. We need older scouts for this event to be possible so if we could get some to volunteer that would be greatly appreciated.
