5:30 pm - Sit down to dinner with our respective dens.

Each den will have its own potluck dinner table. Please sign-up below to RSVP and sign up for a dish.

Each family will must bring their own reusable plates/cups/cutlery and napkins.

Pack will provide tablecloths, drinks and cake (including plates, forks and napkins for cake). If you have decorations for your table, please bring them. Recycled/reused decorations are a plus.

Dens are also encouraged to bring their den flags to demarcate their buffet table.

Please remind your children to only serve themselves food from their own Den’s potluck table (at least until everybody has had a chance to get food).

6:15 pm - Watch den skits as we finish dinner.  Each den should prepare a skit.

6:30 pm - Celebrate the boys' achievements, including a "bridging over" of the Arrow of Light scouts as they graduate into Boy Scout Troop 33.

7:00 pm - Have some birthday cake!  Paper plates, forks and napkins will be provided for dessert.

Our Pack runs well when we all chip in a little. Please consider volunteering in one of these roles:

A.   Set up:  Arrive @ 4:00 pm to set up and arrange tables/chairs/tablecloths; mix coolers of lemonade; get flags/stands from Scout closet; help den leaders set up the stage.  We need strong adults for table and chair setup!

B. Pick up the cake:  Location TBD, but probably one of the local Giant supermarkets or the Costco.  Cake will have been ordered and paid for and I will send you the receipt, all you have to do is pick it up on your way to the event.

C.  During the event:  Greet families as they arrive and directing them to their tables, assist with arranging scouts on Church steps for picture; assist dens as they prepare for their skits; cut and serve the birthday cake.

D. Clean-up: Assist dens in clearing their tables by providing trash cans/bags; lead effort of group in wiping table and chairs and putting them away; broom-sweep floor and check condition of bathroom prior to departure.

An online sign-up page has been created here:

Please also use this web page to RSVP and to sign up for potluck dishes for your Den.

Please be at the church by 5:00 pm, and expect to be done by around 7:15. Bring the entire family (but please help us during the bridging ceremony by excusing noisy or crying children to the foyer area or the playground)

Yours in Scouting,

Rob Carter
