Hello Pack 33, Just a reminder we are 4 weeks away from an exciting weekend at Cedarville State Forest! We have just 5 families signed up and I know many more of you plan to attend, so please sign up today and pick a volunteer role to help the pack go. https://goo.gl/forms/DWCxuXXuCVaWqliu1 I also wanted to share this Spring Campout the Peterson’s will be out of town, and Matt Rhoads is stepping up to be week off / onsite coordinator. You’ll get all your reminders and instructions from me, then I’ll hand things off to Matt in the days leading up to the 13th. Matt's on CC on this email and all going forward. All the details you need to know can be found in my original email below. Yours in Scouting, Jonathan Peterson
TO: All Pack 33 Subject: Pack 33 Spring Campout RSVP: April 13 – 14 Hello Pack 33, For those who went last year, you will remember Cedarville has nice wooded campsite and freshly updated facilities! As a reminder this year our Webelos Scouts will be doing their own campout in early May, more details on that to come. For our Tigers, Bears and Wolves, check out the details below, sign up today and mark your calendars! WHO: 33 Cub Tiger, Wolf and Bear Cub Scouts and their families WHEN: 3PM April 13 – 12PM April 14, 2019 WHERE: Cedarville State Forest 10201 Bee Oak Rd, Brandywine, MD 20613 (301) 888-1410 http://dnr.maryland.gov/publiclands/Pages/southern/cedarville.aspx PLEASE PLACE THIS ON YOUR CALENDAR AND RSVP TODAY https://goo.gl/forms/DWCxuXXuCVaWqliu1 Consent and Health Forms: A quick reminder, especially for our new scouts, BSA requires a consent form (Form A) and health history (Form B) accompany everyone participating in the campout. Many of you have already submitted a health history for this Scouting year, but a consent form for this specific event will still need to be turned in. Also, if you are going to summer camp this year, remember you will also need to complete and turn in a Pre-Participation Physical (Form C) which must be completed by your child’s doctor. Adults attending summer camp also require Forms A – C. While not needed for the spring campout, it’s a good time to get an appointment and get your Form C completed. All three forms are attached and more information is available here: https://www.scouting.org/health-and-safety/ahmr/ Yours in Scouting, Jonathan Peterson Assistant Cubmaster / Campout Coordinator |
